In one of the most beautiful historical monuments in Amsterdam, De Nieuwe Kerk you can find the impressive exhibition “90 Years Ms Monroe. Reflecting on a female icon.”The exhibition is about Marilyn's life, a biographical exhibition revealing aspects of her private life and legacy.

Norma Jeane Morteson known worldwide as Marilyn Monroe was born in 1926 spending most of her childhood in orphanages and foster houses. She was discovered in 1944, introduced to a photographer and began a pin-up modeling career. This was the first step who led Marilyn to a number of films with Twentieth Century-Fox and Columbia pictures.

The exhibition will travel you in time and will impress you by seeing in such a close distance objects and clothing of on of the most emblematic sex symbols of the 1950's. You will see object and photos from the early years until her death. Both controversial sides of Marilyn's life that of a lonely life and that of the extraordinary career are revealed in this exhibition.
